The Thomas 2685PE40 Air Motor is designed to start under pressure.

 

***NEW*** Thomas Dry Running WOB-L Piston Compressor Model # 2685PE40 (110V).   This 3/4 HP pump will work in any aeration system or kit you have.  These can run 5+ diffusers at a time from hundreds of feet away.  Can be connected to multiple valved lines for lakes or ponds 2+ acres and over 30+ feet deep. Will work in any Brands kit such as Easypro, Airmax, Kasco, Atlantic Water Gardens, Big Max, and more.  These are an OEM Brand new item and come complete w/ the full manufacturer's warranty!   
These have a capacitor, intake filter, pressure relief valve, brass 90 and fan guards.  No other accessories are included.  
Will work for Coin Operated Air/Water Vending Machines, Pond Aeration, Telephone Cable Drying, Wave Guide Pressurization, Mobile Dental Stations, etc. 
Motor will need to be mounted away from any source of water - these cannot get wet.

    really good compressor's , puts out lots of air, bought two as our old one went out just as the pond started freezing over , seen these Thompson pumps on ebay sent a question to Charanne, she in return contacted me and helped with my order, and gave me some very good advice how to make my compressors life last longer. very helpful knows her stuff , thank you, now all my little fish are happy as am I, thank you

    Installed three of these compressors to keep the water from freezing at our duck hunting lake. They draw half to power of our old system and are a lot quieter. So far very happy with the compressors. I installed a bigger air filter as the one that comes with the unit is pretty small.
